A Stroll Down 5th Avenue | Senior Session, Downtown Naples, Florida

Senior sessions are all about capturing personality, style, and the moments that matter most. For Abby, that meant a session filled with stunning locations, multiple outfit changes, and even a few bonus headshots for her college application!

If you missed the first blog in this series, I shared an overview of Abby’s incredible senior experience, which took us through some of the most picturesque spots in Naples. Today, we’re kicking things off with our first stop: 5th Avenue South—a vibrant and timeless backdrop that set the tone for Abby’s session.

📍 5th Avenue: A Perfect Starting Point

We began the evening outside Wind in the Willows, a charming boutique known for its whimsical window displays and cozy, old-world charm. This was the perfect spot to capture Abby’s college headshots, where I used my reflector as a clean backdrop to create polished, professional portraits.

✨ Pro Tip: One of the perks of booking a senior session with me? If you need a couple of headshots for college applications, job resumes, or theater auditions, I’m happy to include them! It’s just one more way I personalize every session.

After headshots, we took advantage of the boutique’s charming overhang, supported by wrought iron columns that were beautifully decorated for Christmas. The natural sunlight filtering through this spot gave us the dreamiest glow, and the brick inlay in the sidewalk added a classic touch.

Since movement was important to Abby, we made sure to get some stunning walking portraits here. The combination of soft lighting, textured brick, and festive details made this a perfect location to capture her in motion—graceful, confident, and completely in her element.

From there, we continued our walk along 5th Avenue, stopping at some of

my favorite downtown landmarks:

• ⏳ Iconic 5th Avenue Clock– A classic landmark that adds a touch of Naples charm.

• 🎨 The Englishman Fine Art Gallery – Just west of Starbucks, this spot provided the perfect artistic backdrop.

Abby looked absolutely radiant in her blue and white knee-length dress, which perfectly complemented the downtown vibe. The soft movement of the dress added an effortless elegance to her portraits, and she absolutely owned this part of the session!
